I’m still yet to make cake pops… I know, I almost can’t believe it myself! Anyway, I think that it is about time to try them and this Christmas gives me a great excuse to give them a go. I’ve seen a few really cute designs and snowmen seem to be the easiest to try, but here’s a few that I love and can’t wait to try 🙂
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, the soft crackle of flames, flushed red cheeks and the warm surroundings of home at Christmas. That was my inspiration for this post. I wanted images and ideas to portray this really traditional Christmassy feel and every one of the pictures I’ve chosen compliments this idea (I hope!)

Who doesn’t like food right? I know I do and I certainly love receiving food gifts too. I mean good quality, delicious food that someone who loves you has either made or gone out and bought thinking of you… guys c’mon, you know the key to my heart! It’s sometimes really difficult to get in the Christmas spirit. I find it increasingly difficult. When I was little, I used to love making paper chains, wreaths made out of plastic bag handles and hung up all manner of decorations. No. They never looked good. My Mum always hated them as they just cluttered the room and ok, I now  understand why they were always taken down.
So, here are a few ideas that I have found for decorating the more modern home (but still with a hint of fun and childish Christmas spirit!)
